I was born and raised in Lexington Missouri. I lived there until I graduated from high school and moved because of my work. At the time I was an assistant manager for a discount retailer called Matco. It was a competitor to WalMart. I moved to Texas about a year after graduating and worked some odd jobs. I worked as a carpenter, a brick layer, plumber, electrician, truck body repairman and painter, sign installer and probably a couple more that I don't remember. I joined the Navy in 1981 and went to electronics school and then to Nuclear Power school and became a Reactor Operator onboard a submarine called the USS Sam Rayburn. After my discharge in 1987, I went back to the Dallas area and worked for a electronics manufacturer as an electronics technician for a few months. I got married in July of 1987. I then joined WalMart as an assistant manager. I stayed with them for about 5 years before getting into the security and life safety industry. It was also about the time my daughter was born, which was in June of 1991. I was with Simplex Time Recorder as a Techincal Representative for about 9 years and then ADT as an Applications Manager. I started my own business, Automated Interiors, in October 1999.
I now live in Caddo Mills Texas with my daughter .
